Pain in the back can be unwelcome pain in the ass

What can be more sexy than biomechanical research using electromagnetic 3D-motion capture technology? If you have back pain, not a lot.  According to a new study published online last week in the European Spine Journal, (a follow-up to earlier research), scientists detail an intensive look at 10 heterosexual couples having sex in five different positions for 20 seconds at a time (which is a little below average in time, we have to note).  The research specifically focused on the women’s back movements, and discovered helpful tips such as women whose pain becomes worse when trying to touch their toes or during long periods of sitting should support themselves with their hands instead of their elbows when doing it doggie-style.
